the Gujarat State Federation of School Management had written to the education minister to extend the date of this year's 'Shala Praveshotsav 2022 ' owing to heat wave in the state The annual drive to promote enrolment in schools 'Shala Praveshotsav' to begin from June 23. Gujarat Chief Minister Jitubhai Vaghani on Tuesday held a meeting with education officials of the state in presence of state education minister Jitubhai Vaghani and briefed the officials regarding states seriousness towards the drive.

Shala Praveshotsav 2022 Paripatra : All Government Primary Schools and Granted Primary Schools in the State and all Government and Granted Secondary Schools in the Secondary Department should be covered.Admission program for Std. 9 students should be organized for Std. 1 in primary schools as well as in government secondary schools / RMSA schools / grant in aid secondary schools.  Select primary schools in such a way that secondary schools are nearby.

The venue of the entrance ceremony should be on the campus of primary school for primary and on the campus of secondary school for secondary.
